How do I set up multi-seat?
What you’ll need:
- A program like Aster Multi-seat software.
- Windows PC.
- a powerful multi-core CPU.
- a main/mother board that supports multiple gpu’s.
- multiple gpu’s (video cards)
- a powerful power-supply.
- multiple monitors.
- wireless pointing devices and keyboards (for each workstation)
What is a multiseat computing?
A multiseat, multi-station or multiterminal system is a single computer which supports multiple independent local users at the same time.
How can I have 2 users on one computer?
To add a user, click the Start button, select Settings and then choose Accounts. On the Accounts screen, choose Family & other users from the menu on the left. To set up an account for a co-worker, go to the “Other users” section and click Add someone else to this PC.
How do I enable Aster?
After you have setup the video devices, you can enable ASTER V7 and run extra workplaces. To enable ASTER V7 press Enable ASTER and restart PC button on General tab of the ASTER Control panel. Your PC will be restarted at once.
