UCI Alumni and Affiliates who are current ARC members may register for Campus Recreation activity classes at Campus Recreation Services (2nd floor, ARC).

Is the gym at UCI free?
UCI students have free access to the ARC. The 10,000 square foot Fitness Lab has all the conveniences of the most elite health clubs, including state of the art cardiovascular equipment, weight machines, and free-weights.

The Anteater Aquatics Complex pool is open for swimmers Monday-Friday, 11am-1pm through a membership with the UC Irvine Campus Recreation. UCI Campus Recreation offers a myriad of activities, including swimming, that embody core objectives related to campus and external community members.

UCI Campus Recreation – the Anteater Recreation Center (ARC) Main Gym (MG) – Features a 19,000 square foot gymnasium with the ability to house 3 basketball courts, 3 volleyball courts, or 9 badminton courts. Items for checkout range from basketballs to shower towels, and from racquetball racquets to swim goggles.

Registered students from other UC campuses may use recreation centers at all UC campus facilities. During the academic year, all valid UC student IDs will be honored at the recreational sports facilities system wide.
Is the UCSB gym free?
Use of the Recreation Center is granted on a quarterly basis to fee paying UCSB students. Others may purchase memberships at the Recreation Department Customer Service Center located at the Recreation Center.
Can you bring guests to UCR gym?
Member and guests (18 or over with a valid photo ID) must both be present at time of purchase. Guest pass is valid for the entire day of purhase. $5 per day (valid the entire day for the SRC).
