Doug Rattmann
Doug Rattmann, also known as the Ratman, is a former Aperture Science employee, and one of the few survivors of GLaDOS’ flooding of the Enrichment Center with neurotoxin. Introduced through his murals in Portal, his story was expanded in Portal 2: Lab Rat.
What happened Ratman Portal?
He is injured in the process when he is shot by Turrets that are still left in nearby test chambers. He then submits himself into Chell’s cryogenic stasis bed found in the Relaxation Vault previously used in the events of Portal, and falls asleep in it.

Why did Rattman save Chell?
So Ratman put Chell on the top priority for testing, hoping that she will escape and kill GLaDOS, so he can escape himself, which worked. But when the party associate came to bring her back inside, he felt bad. And since the facility was destroyed, there was no power to keep Chell alive when in her cryochamber.
Is Ratman chells dad?
