Common Exams are a series of comprehensive exams that students are required to take to complete certain courses at NJIT. They are referred to as “Common Exams” because all the students in the following classes are required to take them: Chemistry 121, 122, 125, 126. CS 100, 113, 280.

Common evening exams, sometimes referred to as common exams, are used in large multi-section courses to administer the same exam to all students in the course at the same time. The exams are conducted in the evening instead of during regularly scheduled class times.
How do you double major in NJIT?
The Dual Degree program permits qualified NJIT undergraduate students to earn credits toward a graduate degree. To qualify, students must have a cumulative GPA at or above 3.0 and can take six (6) credits of graduate course work in their senior year. They can take nine (9) credits if their GPA is at or above 3.5.
