The Sky SR102 (black Sky Router) contains a router and also a VDSL modem. It’s a two in one bit of kit, which keeps things tidy, but it has several failings; poor WiFi speed, no WiFi AC 5Ghz compliance, no Gigabit network ports, no USB 3.0 port and to top it off it has a limit on the number of WiFi users/devices it can handle.

Which is better Sky Q Hub or SR102?
The Sky Q Hub is MILES better than the SR102 so you’ve definitely grabbed a bargain! I’m pleased at discovering this thread. I’ve just upgraded to Sky Fibre and while I’m happy with the SR102 I had a feeling that the new Q router would be better for me.
