1. Mesalt should be changed when saturated (usually once a day in heavily exuding wounds), or according to good clinical practice. 2. If the condition of the wound deteriorates, discontinue use and consult the wound specialist.
How long does Mesalt stay on wounds?
Mesalt® dressings should be changed every 24 hours or more frequently if indicated by wound drainage or existing protocol. Mesalt® is intended for short-term use up to 30 days.
